A girl in my city was recently killed.

She was 18 years old. She had graduated that very day, and was on her way home from a graduation party (she was trying to get home before curfew) when the car she was in was shot at from behind with a high powered rifle. The fire went through her body and killed her.

I REALLY just want to spend this whole post RAGING about what kind of sick bastard it would take to just decide it would be a good idea that because they were so mad at this girl or one of her friends or whatever the hell, that they should kill her. But as I’ve said a lot before, I’m not one to tarnish the deceased’s memory by making a rage post.

She was 18. My age. With a freaking life time of possibilities in front of her. She had just graduated. I didn’t know her at all (although having seen her picture, she looks somewhat familiar…) but regardless this is terrible. Rest in peace, and I hope the police manage to catch the jag(s) who thought it right to end your life entirely too soon.
